WPS Event - Open Meeting

Washtenaw Psychology Society (WPS), a regional group of MPA, will be hosting an Open Meeting next WednesdayApril 7from 6:00-7:00pm via Zoom. This meeting will feature a Q & A discussion with WPS Chair, Dr. Angela Giacoletti Argento, along with Dr. Beth Pearson and Dr. Kristina (Tina) Rask, about how to start and run a private practice. You can learn more about their practices in the bios provided below. All who are interested in private practice or trainees who have more general questions about the field of professional psychology are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Dr. Angela Giacoletti Argento has been in private practice in Ann Arbor for the past 6 years after 20 years at the University of Michigan (UM) hospital. She is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist providing evaluations and treatment to children and adolescents with a variety of neurodevelopmental and psychological concerns.
 

Dr. Beth Pearson is the director of the Ann Arbor locations of Arbor Psychology Group - a multidisciplinary private practice for children, families, and adults. As director, she is responsible for matching clients to appropriate therapists and provides supervision and consultation for all of the Ann Arbor therapists. In her clinical work, Dr. Pearson specializes in the areas of parent-child relationships, disruptive behavior disorders, ADHD, and anxiety.

Dr. Kristina (Tina) Rask began her professional life working in a community mental health setting. She has worked in private group practice settings for the past 21 years. Currently, she is with Sullivan, Nolan and Associates, a multidisciplinary group serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, stress management, and adjustment disorders across the lifespan.
